Intl literature conference to be held in Ghana
A host of Ghanaian participants, including author Ama Ata Aidoo share the stage with international writers, publishers and critics, from such countries as Nigeria, Haiti, the USA, Kenya, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Local poet Natalia Molebatsi and art administrator Roshnie Moonsammy will be joined by such notables as Lola Shoneyin (Nigeria), Nnedi Okorafor (Nigeria) and Veronique Tadjo (Coet d'Ivoire).
The conference is presented by The Organisation of Women Writers of Africa (OWWA) and New York University (NYU), in collaboration with the Ghanaian Mbaasem Foundation and the Spanish Fundación Mujeres por África (Women for Africa Foundation).
The event is free and open to the public. You simply need to register online on OWWA's website. A draft programme is also available.
