FNB gets talking, wins award
The brand advertising campaign, created by MetropolitanRepublic to echo the FNB brand promise of helpfulness, "how can we help you,” achieved top honours in the media category at the 2010 Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB) Awards on 20 February 2010, for "a commercial promoting indigenous languages.” Produced in multiple renditions in English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa and Sesotho and flighted on national television over the past four months, the media plan also ensured that the advertising was flighted in multilingual television programming, to ensure optimum market effectiveness.
