Entries for 2019 Property Journalism Awards are now open

The submissions for the 2019 instalment of the Property Journalism Awards for Excellence are officially open. Held by the South African Property Owners Association (Sapoa) in partnership with Excellerate, the awards recognise South African property journalists who have made a noteworthy contribution to the commercial and industrial property industry through quality media coverage of the property industry.

The overarching theme for this year's awards is: "Authentic journalism is good business practice. It is the art of taking information and adding value to it."

This year's submissions will be judged in five main categories: Best Newcomer of the Year, Property News Journalist of the year, Property Feature Journalist of the Year, Property Publication of the Year and Property News Website of the Year.

The closing date for submissions is Friday 22 March 2019 and nominees and winners will be announced at the Sapoa Convention and Property Exhibition, which will take place from 18-20 June 2019 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
