Africa Media Summit to take place in November
The International News Media Association's (Inma) Africa Media Summit will take place virtually from 19 to 20 November. The summit will focus on accelerating the business of journalism and featuring case studies from throughout the continent.
Speakers at this year's summit will include Vasantha Angamuthu, CEO of African News Agency (South Africa), Denise Laila, head of product development at The Standard Group (Kenya), Al Ahram Online editor-in-chief, Fouad Mansou (Egypt) and head of content at Pulse, Toli Master (Ghana).
SABC News anchor Peter Ndoro will moderate the summit, which will cover several topics, including the digital journey of leading African newsrooms, upholding the traditional integrity of print media, how to implement data strategies, and what digital revenue models will work for African media.
