SABMiller grows in Africa and India
SABMiller expects to spend US$370 million on development in Africa this financial year, and US$500 million in India over the next five years as incomes rise and consumption increases. The group's capital spending programme in Africa includes greenfields breweries and soft-drink plants, expansion of existing operations and replacing containers. SABMiller Africa MD Mark Bowman said: “I don't think I've seen so many opportunities for us to develop our business.”
