Masie leaves Google SA
Stafford Masie, who was hired by the internet giant in 2007 to establish and lead the company's business development in South Africa, has resigned after just over 18 months in the position. It was created for him with the aim of expanding the company's strategic partnerships in southern Africa as well as its advertising and applications business in South Africa. Masie gave as a reason a desire to spend more time with his family. Meanwhile, the company says it will now look for a replacement for Masie, who will leave at the end of April. Source: ITWeb
