Curro Holdings names Shawn Thomson as new operational business manager

JSE-listed independent school operator, Curro Holdings recently named regional head, Shawn Thomson as its new operational business manager. Thomson is to overlook all 128 schools spanning the various Curro brands and his duties will include managing and be executing tasks such as school business plans, recruitment retention policies, financial planning and motivational leadership structures.

Thomson commences his employment at Curro, six years ago, and is skilled in the areas of human resources, financial, education and facilities management. Thomson obtained his higher diploma in education from the Durban Teachers Training College and a bachelor of education honours in education management, law and policy from the University of Pretoria.
