BDO SA new appointments
Gladys Sebatha appointed as audit director:
Prior to her appointment to the Risk Department of BDO SA as associate director in 2013, Gladys was a quality control specialist at the Auditor General of South Africa. She completed her articles with Deloitte and gained further experience at IRBA as a senior inspector.
Stuart McIlroy appointed as audit director:
Stuart completed his articles with Moore Stephens before the firm merged with BDO in 2010, following which he has gained experience working with clients across a diverse range of industries including mining, healthcare management, manufacturing and transportation.
Servaas Kranhold appointed as audit director:
As a specialist within the mining sector with multinational mining companies, Servaas has experience working particularly on internationally referred assignments from the UK.
Patricia Stock appointed as audit director:
Patricia's prior work experience includes her auditing, management and quality control appointments at the Auditor General of South Africa, as well as trainee accountant at Afgri Limited in 2006. As a CA, she has over seven years' experience in a wide variety of audits.
Seelan Muthayan appointed as VAT director:
As an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, Seelan has 16 years of legal and tax practice experience and currently oversees the Indirect Tax practice at BDO SA. Prior to joining BDO SA, Seelan was employed by SARS as an operational specialist focusing on domestic direct and indirect taxes.
