I am currently working as a freelance independent marketing consultant. I have just taken on three new clients, the first – a global travel resource company, and the second – a small niche publishing company and the third – a web design company. Although the work include advice and guidance on strategies to improve their presence in the marketplace, I am also doing more specific work such as the creation of an online customer surveys, assisting with the creation of new blog posts to boost their online presence and using other marketing tools to strengthen their brands. In Kazakhstan I continue to offer my skills and services to various local and expat causes and groups in the fields of communication, marketing and networking. I maintain two social media pages that distribute relevant information to the English speaking community of Almaty. I also have a blog that provides much needed information to expatriates that are considering Kazakhstan as a potential destination. My work continues to build upon my 5+ years of experience in the aviation industry, where I travelled extensively and was fortunate enough to have lived in South Africa, Qatar and Kazakhstan. This time helped me develop a passion for people, different cultures and sharing information which I now use daily helping clients reach out to their customers – whatever their nationality or background.
