Before leaving GfK as the Head of Client Services for West Africa, Nkem started his career as a Project Manager in Nielsen in 2003. Within 6 years he managed over 350 projects ranging from social research to consumer research, covering all cities in West Africa. He has comprehensive knowledge of data collection methodologies and questionnaire design for developing markets and as such he was acknowledged for vigorously managing multifaceted/multi-country tracking studies. He also bagged more credits for handling projects for MTN, ZAIN, BBC, P&G, Nestle, Unilever, Reckit, PZ and GSK to mention a few.

Nkem has passionately been involved in Shopper, Pricing, Loyalty and NPS, Brand health and positioning, Consumer, Advertising and other ad hoc research within the Financial, E-commerce, FMCG, Pharmaceutical and Telecommunication sectors. Nkem has managed customer satisfaction, retail, usage and attitude, sensory, segmentation and brand tracking surveys for key global and local brands. He also has extensive experience in brand experience and market innovation research.
In his 8yrs in GfK, Nkem worked with the project teams in the application of insight to a variety of continuous and ad hoc research assignments as well as developing strategic analysis and devising bespoke projects for a wide range of multi-country clients.
Nkem has strong knowledge of data acquisition process and good interpretational skills. He has extensive experience in advanced analytics, sampling and weighting, big data analytics, data processing and consumer panel management. Proficient in Analytic tools like MS Excel, POWER BI, TABLEAU, SQL, R, Python, and SPSS. Currently training to be a machine and deep learning expert.

Educated in Nigeria and Switzerland, Nkem holds an MBA with a specialization in Marketing and two bachelors degrees, one in Computer Science and Statistics and the other in Business Administration. He is also an Alumni of Pan-Atlantic university where he had a Post-Graduate Degree in Market and Social Research.
