Senior Manager in Group IT's Strategy Office responsible for the end-to-end IT Business Relationship Management for the Digital Division of Edcon
My primary role is to be the single point of contact of Edcon's Group IT function to the Edcon Digital Division and act as a Digital SME to the Edcon divisions. The Edcon Digital Division consists of e-Commerce, Thank U Digital App, Partner Management, Loyalty Management, Customer Analytics, Cellular and Operations.
As part of my role I provided the following:
• Strategic Leadership and alignment of technology to the Digital Division's business strategy.
• Creation, prioritisation and delivery of the Digital Division's Technology Roadmap.
• Developed commercial Business Cases to support the Digital Division's Business Technology Investments as well benefits realisation
• Explored and implemented technology-enabled innovation opportunities that enhanced business processes or capabilities
• Assessed new business concepts and positioned solutions for viable business concepts.

e-Commerce Project Manager
As the Makro e-Commerce Project Manager I was responsible for the management of the e-Commerce platform, supply chain, customer and sales lifecycle. The purpose of the role was to formulate and execute the e-Commerce Strategy. The strategy was to maintain and improve the Makro Online presence and performance thus enabling Makro Online to be our customer's choice for online shopping.
This entailed the stabilisation of current online capabilities, improvement of the customer journey and user experience, enablement of additional Digital functionality, Customer Management functionality and e-Commerce SME to supporting business units.
