Kaya FM 95.9 and Old Mutual present two evenings of exclusive wines and whiskies at the luxurious Hyde Park Corner. The Wade Bales Wine & Malt Whisky Affair showcases a selection from over 18 wine estates and 15 Whisky houses to suit every palate for the connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
Staying true to our previous events, we will be focusing on over 80 hand-selected wines from South Africa’s finest wineries including Delaire Graff Estate, Ernie Els, Mulderbosch.
Alongside the wines, whisky enthusiasts will have the opportunity to sample over 50 Single Malt Whiskies from around the world. Back by popular demand are The Balvenie, Bunnahabhain, Bruichladdich and The Macallan. New to this year’s event is Wolfburn and an exciting new range of Blended Malts from Wemyss and Shetland Reel.
Hyde Park Corner is the most sophisticated and luxurious shopping centre on the continent, boasting over 130 iconic speciality stores and is home to over 500 international brands.
Guests can relax and take their time engaging with the winemakers and whisky aficionados, discovering the unique insights into the secrets of the grape as well as the golden dram. A combination of both fine wine and malt whisky under one roof, ensure guests have a sophisticated experience, enhanced by a selection of gourmet cheese, antipasti deli and artisanal breads.
Master Classes in Whisky, moderated by WhiskyBrother, will be available with Whisky experts in attendance. There will be one class per evening and will be able to set 20-25 guests at no extra charge.

Listen out for the Half-Time Bell – where for a limited period of 15 minutes only, you will be able to try rare and limited editions of wine and whisky from “under the table”.
Tickets are priced at R180 per person and with your complimentary glass you will have access to any and all wine and whisky products featured on the night, not to mention the fine food also included in the ticket price.
