The Unplugged sessions that are broadcast on GITA will end on a high note with the much anticipated performance of award-winning group, Mi Casa. This means listeners will get the best of both worlds with J’Something performing and bringing you brand-new Castle Milk Stout recipes on 25 November, the perfect fusion of Unplugged Music and Food.
The Kaya Live and Unplugged sessions brought to you by Castle Milk Stout presented a fusion of soulful sounds and recipes with J’Something as our resident chef, who treated an exclusive crowd to his recipes and VIP treatment as audiences sat comfortably at the lush Kaya FM live performance, green area venue.
“Castle Milk Stout has long supported Unplugged music, targeted at adults who take the time to savour moments in life – like you savour good music and good food,” said Sanele Gwala, Castle Milk Stout Brand Manager.
For each unplugged session J’Something prepared a soulful meal and snack infused with elements of Castle Milk Stout inspired recipes that are sure to get the conversation started on the airwaves and with studio guests.

The recipes were created to complement the flavour profile of the stout to ensure a delight for the palate. The aspiring chef took audiences on a culinary journey serving up Porto Stout Can Chicken with Chocolate Stout Mousse for episode one and continued impress guests with favourites such as Biltong Bread, Stout Lamb Chops and Stout Caramel popcorn.
