Geoff Blount is the CEO of Cannon Asset Managers. After completing a BCom (Hons) at Wits, Geoff lectured Corporate Finance in the university's business economics department. He subsequently worked as an equity dealer at Société Generale Frankel Pollak (the precursor SG Securities and later Sasfin Securities) and later became a private-client portfolio manager at SGFP.
